Apples and Water!!

If you're starting a Weightloss routine make sure to drink PLENTY of water!!!  Also, a GREAT, delicious snack is a Gala Apple! They're only about 33 calories and so yummy!!! 

A Breakfast Sandwich!!!

Ok, this is a GREAT alternative to those delicious McDonald's Egg McMuffins that is so delicious!

Here's what you need:
100 Cal OR High Fiber English Muffin (I usually get the Thomas')
Laughing Cow Cheese (any flavor as long as it's light)
1 egg white (you can have the whole egg- it's not too much more)
Low Sodium/Low Fat Ham (1oz [about 2 slices])

Instructions:
Toast english muffin
Spread 1/2 of a Laughing cow wedge on the muffin
Cook your egg and season with salt and pepper
Place all ingrediants on English Muffin and Enjoy!

Parmesan Crusted Basil Tilapia!

2-4 oz. Tilapia filet
1/2 teaspoon olive oil (or just enough to brush on the fish)
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
Pinch of Garlic Salt
1 teaspoon dry basil
2 tablespoon Romano or Parmesan Cheese (Romano has less salt)

Brush on olive oil on both sides of the fish. Sprinkle on garlic powder and a small amount of garlic salt. Press in cheese on both sides (use about 1 T on this to start). Sprinkle basil on both sides, sparingly (not too much).

Spray a pan with cooking spray to avoid extra calories. The fish has the oil on it, but this is to hold the ingrediants onto the fish. Put one side on first for about 4 minutes, flip it and add on a little more cheese. Flip again after another 4 minutes and continue to add the extra cheese. You will know it's done when the fish is is white all the way through and the cheese is a golden color crust over the fist.
It is sooooo yummy. It is about 4 points. (about 200 calories!!)

Corn and Black Bean Salsa!

This is a GREAT summer dish with a ton of flavor! It goes great on anything!

Ingredients:
1- Jalapeno Pepper
1/2 of a red onion (finely chopped)
1/4 c of finely chopped cilantro
1 very small tomato (you don't want tomato to over power this salsa, just enough to add a little red)
2-3 garlic gloves
1 large or 2 small limes
1 can of black beans
1 can of sweet corn
1/2 teaspoon- Cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt to likeing
Pepper to liking


Finely chop jalapeno pepper, onion, garlic (if you have a garlic press, this is best), tomato, and cilantro and put in a bowl, Squeeze in the lime, mix all of those together let all of them sit together for about 10 minutes before adding in the rest of the ingredient. The lime will marinate all of the ingredients together.

Add in the corn and black beans into the first mixture. Sprinkle on the Cumin and the garlic powder. Add in salt and pepper.
Enjoy!
This is (get this) only 1 point for 1 whole cup!!!!
